Pushparani Huidrom is a renowned Manipuri singer, widely celebrated for her contributions to Manipuri music and cinema. Born in Kakching, Manipur, she began singing at a very young age and gained national recognition after finishing as a runner-up in the popular TV music competition Sa Re Ga Ma in 1998. Over the years, she has recorded more than a thousand songs and earned the title “Melody Queen of Manipur” for her melodious voice and lasting impact on the state’s music industry. She has received several awards, including the Best Female Playback Singer honor at the 17th Manipur State Film Awards for her song “Matam Nangbu” from the film Una Una.
